Ticketless man boards US flight after ‘following family’, airline probes

Delta Carriers said Friday it is evaluating how a man who purportedly pursued a family around the terminal then, at that point, loaded up the family’s plane recently without a ticket for the flight.

The episode occurred at Washington Dulles Global Air terminal.

“Delta has processes set up for door specialists and flight groups to check that people installed airplane before takeoff are clients that are set up for that specific flight,” the carrier said in an explanation. “Delta is assessing the matter being referred to inside and has been in contact with air terminal experts related to this survey.”

Lauren Benton told ABC News that she saw a man who seemed, by all accounts, to be following herself, her significant other and their two small kids inside the terminal, even into a ladies’ bathroom. She said when they loaded onto the plane, the man followed and plunked down in their column.

Benton said her better half stood up to the man, and an airline steward requested to see his ticket, which he couldn’t deliver.

The man was taken out from the plane. As indicated by the Transportation Security Organization, he had a substantial ID and ticket for a later flight, making sense of how he moved beyond the designated spot.
